Recommendation

It is recommended that any prospective candidates that are eyeing to be admitted into Lautech should strive to have a JAMB score that is far above 180 because there is no way an institution will admit a candidate that has 180 in his/her Jamb score when there are thousands of candidates that scored 250.

GENERAL JAMB SYSTEM OF ADMISSION AND CUT OFF MARK

The Central Admission Processing System(CAPS) was introduced by JAMB as a platform for its prospective candidates for the purpose of processing an admission among the tertiary institutions, so as to enable a level plane ground for all candidates based on their performances and removed nepotism and some corrupt practices in admission process by a different institution.

Central  Admission Processing System is being set as a yardstick and statutory mark for all admission processes, some highly competitive tertiary institutions like OAU, UI, UNN, UNIZIK, UNILAG and other federal universities have made 200 as their general Jamb cut off marks.
