Canada Visa Requirements For Nigerians

1. Passport
One of the main things you will need is a passport of yourself. Just as we know, when it comes to official matters, you are always required to provide a passport photograph of yourself. The passport photograph must be a recent one, but I will advise you to take a get a new passport. The passport should be big enough, but not too big. You should also not make the passport too small. Although, this may not be necessary, ensure you use the standard background, which is white. It is advisable not to use any cap. Do not put on glasses, face mask or anything that can obstruct your whole face from showing. You should also make your two ears visible, none of them should be hidden.
2. Good Health
Another requirement is good health. Having a good health is important for you to get your Canada visa. You must not be suffering from any form of illness. If you are sick, you may not be given your visa. You can not just say you are healthy, and expect them to believe you. You are required to get a medical examination result. It is advisable to get your medical examination result from credible health centres.
3. Ties
Canadian government does not want over population caused by foreigners, that is the reason why you have to show them you are tied to your country. You have to convince them that you will return to Nigeria after completion of your mission in Canada. You will have to prove that you are strongly tied to your family in Nigeria, or you have a job that will make you return to Nigeria, etc. Getting a Canada might prove difficult if you can not convince them of your return.
4. Enough Fund
Here comes another important requirement. Before you can get your Canada visa, you have to show that you have enough money to take care of all your expenses in Canada. You also have to show that you have enough fund to bring you back to Nigeria. The Canada government wants to be sure they are not giving visa to broke people who can end up getting involved in criminal activities.
5. No Criminal Record
Here is our last requirement on the list. This requirement is very important. Any person that will be given Canada visa must have a clean criminal record. Anyone that has any sort of criminal record can be denied from having the Canada visa. However, persons who committed crime under the age of 18 have chances of getting a Canada visa.
