Situated in Lagos is the Lagos state University popularly called LASU, the school is also among the top state universities in the country. LASU is a highly competitive university with a lot of candidates applying there yearly. The school has the highest population for state universities in the country with a population of about 61,000 students spread out to different faculties. LASU was established in the year 1983, with 4 campuses which are spread out with few kilometers apart.
